KELM designs and constructs MV and LV distribution networks across Tanzania, including new connections, line extensions and relocations. Our work includes the power supply to Butimba Treatment Plant and the relocation of approximately 5.5km of 33kV overhead line at Buckreef Gold Mine.
We carry out route surveys, prepare drawings and material schedules, and undertake overhead-line and underground-cable construction. Installation includes terminations, earthing and protection, followed by inspection, electrical testing and handover documentation. We also repair and maintain existing networks.
